Earthquake hits Japan again

Japan was hit again by an earthquake.

Associate Press (AP) reported that a second quake has hit Japan. Officials said the quake hit 25 miles under the water and off the coast of Miyagi prefecture.

The 7.4 magnitude quake hit about the same location and depth as the 9.0 magnitude earthquake that hit last month, says Paul Caruso, a geophysicist at the U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, Colo.

A tsunami warning has been issued. Waves up to 6 feet are expected. Japan's NHK broadcaster has asked residents on the coastline to evacuate to higher ground.
