This is my first time to cook this dish. I thought it was good because everybody in our home ate it. I guess my different style of cooking has got to do with it. Instead of soda, I only used sugar and water. Then salt and pepper to taste, no soy sauce. Of course, liver spread and tomato sauce. After that, I carefully watched the water to thickened (thick as gravy sauce) together with potatoes, carrots,red bell pepper and tendered beef. It's done.

Beef Kaldereta

Blog for food
Minsan ang buhay ay parang pagkain. Minsan masarap o kaya minsan mukhang masarap.

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, Macaroni Elbow, Salt & pepper, Cabbage, Potato, Carrots, Embotido, Garlic and Onion.
- Boil the chicken for about 15 minutes.
- While waiting for it. Prepare the other ingredients.
- Chopped garlic and onions. Slice potato and carrots to small squared size. Chopped cabbage.
- Also, cut embotido to chunk.
- Lift the chicken and let it cooled down. Set aside the chicken broth.
- After cooling down. Gently, separate chicken meat to bone.
- Saute garlic, onions, together with embotido and chicken.
- Put potato and carrots together with macaroni and chicken broth.
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Let it boil for 10 minutes.
- Put the Cabbage and boil for another 5 minutes or 'til the macaroni becomes soft.
Enjoy! :D
